Agreeing & helping
好呀 agrees warmly; 可以 gives permission or says something is possible; 冇問題 reassures someone.
Thanking someone
多謝晒 thanks someone for a gift or treat. 唔該晒 thanks someone for help or service. 晒 adds emphasis.
Responding to thanks
唔駛客氣 means “You’re welcome”. 唔使客氣 is another common spelling.
Excusing & apologising
唔好意思 gets attention politely or apologises. 對唔住 is a direct apology. Both can be used to say sorry; the situation matters.
Listening support: 冇 (mou5) means “there is no / there are no”. 冇雲吞麵 means wonton noodles are unavailable. 唔好意思 apologises for this; 冇問題 accepts the situation. 對唔住 is an extra phrase to practise in the cards and arcade.
